Betty R. Ray, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019.

She was born on July 9, 1931 in Cave Springs, Georgia to Clifford and Mary (Beaty) Johnson. Betty retired from Miniversity and Little Angels Daycare after 30 years of service. She was a dedicated Christian, Sunday School Teacher, and a member of Love Fellowship Church in Louisville.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Alfred Ray, and Son, Ricky K. Johnson.

Betty is survived by her Son, Cedric Johnson, Son, Rolander Johnson, and Sisters, Juanita Pope and Charlotte Arnold.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home. Per Betty's wishes the family has chosen cremation.
