She was born on November 28, 1930 in West Liberty, Kentucky to Corbitt and Florence Elam. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. O'Nan; son, Charles S. O'Nan; father, Corbitt Elam; mother, Florence Elam; and her brothers and sisters.
Betty is survived by her grandsons, Stephen O'Nan and Jeremy O'Nan; and her great grandchildren.
