Betty Jean (Jennings) Moody, 82, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on August 31, 2015 in New Albany, Indiana. Betty enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, and crocheting, but her true love was her family.
Betty was born on May 6, 1933 in Clark County, Indiana to the late Henry & Eliza Ann (Bennett) Jennings. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Moody; and 9 siblings.
She is survived by her children, John Rogers, Jr. (Carolyn), Brenda Veach (Mark), David Moody, Jr. (Valarie), Hank Moody (Ellen), Paula Mueller (Karl), Darrell Moody (Robin), & Daniel Moody (Melissa); 27 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12 PM to 8 PM Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). Her Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 AM Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
