Betty Jean Miller, 87, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. Betty enjoyed gambling at boat and was an avid poker player. She will be dearly missed by her family who she loved to spend time with.

She was born on September 7, 1933 to the late Alvin and Elsie Palmer Chapman. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Baird; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Larry Miller; son, Robert (Claudette) Leitner; daughter, Karen (Kevin) Bridges; daughter, Penny (Jay) Cleveland; son, Dwayne (Karen) Miller; daughter, Michelle (Will) North; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that no flowers be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty's memory can be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association (135 Parkinson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10305).
