Betty "Joyce" Mccue

Betty "Joyce" (Patterson) McCue, 66, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020. Joyce was a member of the Palmyra United Methodist Church where she enjoyed volunteering for the church thrift store. Family was number one to Joyce and was her most prized achievement, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her family and loved shopping to find great bargains.

She was born on July 21, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Charles and Doris (Bader) Patterson.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Martin Patrick McCue, Jr.; children, Martin "Patrick" (Rhea) McCue III, Kristie (Tate) Anderson, and Anthony "Tony" (Jasmine) McCue; grandchildren, Steffanie (Jeremy) Bobby, Jessica Hunt, Alexandria "Ali" Anderson, Kyle (Olivia) Creech, Jonathan Hunt, Derrick Scot Anderson, Aidan McCue, Olivia Anderson, and Meadoe Creech; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.

There will be a Memorial Gathering from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. Her Memorial Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen in regards to Joyce's wishes.
