Betty Mae Keenan

April 19, 1927 — April 2, 2016

Betty Mae Keenan, 88, passed away peacefully from this world on April 2, 2016 at Baptist Heath with her family by her side.

She was a Baptist by faith and was preceded in death by her husband John Russell Keenan, parents William and Marie Turpin, son Kenneth Dwayne Keenan, grandson Johnny Russell Brzozka, and four brothers; Lewis, Robert, Ed and Lee Roy Turpin.

Betty Mae is survived by her children Dale Keenan (Hilda), Carol Anna Cannon (Ed), Pamela Brzozka and Marchell Keenan, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Reba Brown and Wanda French (Howard) and one brother David Earl Turpin (Tina) along with a host of nieces and nephews who all loved her.

Betty Mae loved her family and was a homemaker for most of her life. She also worked at Twinbrook Nursing Home as a nurse's aide for twelve years. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243 from 2:00pm until the time of the funeral ceremony at 5:00pm.

Her burial will be held on Thursday April 7, 2016 at Tarfork Cemetery in Hardinsburg Kentucky at 2:00pm EST/1:00pm CST.
