Betty Lemon

Betty Jewel "Da" Lemon, age 85 of Louisville, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Formerly of Marion, Kentucky, Da was a retired beautician and member of the Marion United Methodist Church there. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lemon; her parents, James Sheldon and Sallie Turner Self; and a granddaughter, Courtney Roush.

Da is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Marcia Lemon; grandchildren, Melanie Roush (Tony Alfred), Michael Lemon (Cindy) and Matthew Lemon (Cassandra); great-grandchildren, Nick Roush, Cole, Trey and Josie Lemon, Abram, Tobias and Asa Lemon; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 3-5:30pm Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with service to follow at 5:30pm. Burial will be 1pm CDT Friday, December 18th in Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, Kentucky.

Memorials may be made to the Pallative Care Unit at Baptist Health Louisville or Hosparus.
