Betty Marie Knight

Betty Knight, aged 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Born on December 7, 1930, in Louisville to Elmer and Naomi (Raggard) Bailey, Betty’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and family. She was a cherished wife, mother, mamaw, and dear friend who touched the hearts of all who knew her. Betty found joy in simple pleasures like watching The Price is Right and working on crossword puzzles, always valuing the precious moments spent with those she loved.

Preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Naomi Bailey, her beloved husband Herman Knight, her daughter Judy Weissrock, and her grandson Derek Stankiewicz, Betty’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her devoted daughter Carol (Ron) Brewer; sons Michael (Lisa), Charles (Judy), Steve (Toni), and Donnie (Ellen) Knight; grandchildren, Cindy (Brian) Rush, Tonya (Corey) Brewer, Ronnie (Amanda) Brewer, Bobby (Britny) Brewer, Kensie Bovinet, Chevy (Sydney) Knight, Johnathan Knight, Amy (Jason) Lord, Chelsea (Sam) Dever, Jessica Armendariz, Amanda Kelley, Krystal Burke, Jordan Knight, Jenny Knight, Cody Justin, Drake Justin, 33 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. Alongside extended family and friends, they carry forward the warmth and kindness Betty shared throughout her life.

Betty’s unwavering love and gentle spirit will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all fortunate enough to have known her. May her family find comfort in the enduring bonds she created and in the many happy memories they hold dear.
