Betty J. Moody, 87, was called home with the Lord on July 27, 2015. She was a very caring and loving mother and grandmother who will be missed very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Moody; parents, Franklin and Ruby Miller; grandchild, Trisha Campbell; sister, Judy Davis and Doris Miller; brothers, James Franklin and Fred Holmes.
She is survived by her children, Billy Moody, James Moody, Brenda Hensley, Diane Stewart, Betty Stewart, Leon Moody, Denise Underwood and Connie Moody; grandchildren, Autumn Bryant, Daniel Moody, Connie Bryant, Bobby Hensley, Sherry Hensley, Vincent Hensley, Dale Stewart, Jr. James Stewart, Donald Stewart, Brittany Stewart, Justin Moody, Terry Hoke, Bryan Underwood, Brad Underwood, Chad Underwood, Austin Underwood, Clarissa Underwood, Ashley Holland, Jeremy Moody and Savannah Allen; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Miller, Kenny Miller, Ralph Miller.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2015, from 10am-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Betty's life will be Monday, August 3, 2015, beginning at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
