Betty Jo (BJ) Grant, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. Betty enjoyed riding her Harley, being in the company of her friends, and she loved to sit on the porch while it rained and read a book. She loved her dog Chicha Bella. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was born on May 7, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Velma (Wood) Higdon. She is preceded in death by her Father, Joseph Higdon and Mother, Velma Staples.
Betty is survived by her loving family Daughters, Kimberly (Charles) Bryant-Moock, and Shawn (Shawn M) Adkins: Grandchildren, Tyler James, Alicia (Jason) Adkins, Shawn Wilson, and Miken Moock: Great-Grandchild, Tyler James, Jr.. As well as a host of family and friends to charish her memory.
The family has chosen cremation and a they will be having a memorial service at a later date.
The family requests that contributions in Betty's memory be made to the family.
