Betty Jean (Tarrance) Gary, 83, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
She was born on July 20, 1934 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Rufus, Sr. and Marie (West) Tarrance. Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, William Gary; son, Terry Gary; grandsons, Zachery Gary, Nathan Irvin; and siblings, Christine Tyler and Rufus Tarrance, Jr.
Betty is survived by her children, Pam Pack, Mike Gary (Sandy), Cindy Pryor (Roger), Pat Gary (Brandy), Liz Roederer (Paul), Tim Gary (Sara), Sarah Wambold (Jeff), Penny Land (John); 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM on Friday, July 28, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 9 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
