Betty G. Bottorff

Betty G. Bottorff, 87, of La Grange, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She was a member of Buckner Christian Church. Betty retired from Jefferson County Schools as a Food Service Manager. She was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and the La Grange Kiwanis.

She was the beloved wife of the late Morton Steelman Bottorff; daughter of the late Leslie and Inez Watts; step-mother to the late Michael Bottorff; and sister to the late, William F. Watts, Gary Watts, and Judith Frey.

Betty is survived by her 4 daughters, Brenda Dodson (the late Gary Dodson), Linda Brown (Pat), Deborah Troutman (Steve), and Rebecca Miller (Garry); step-daughter, Lisa Bottorff Welch; her grandchildren, Leslie Wills (Robert), Brian Dodson (Amanda), Dottie VerWest (Dan), Angela Vance (Greg), Samantha Troutman (Will), Rebecca Elise Crowder (Adam), and Olivia Hayden (James); sisters-in-law, Patricia Watts and Clara Watts; brother-in-law, Mike Frey; 15 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, both at La Grange Assembly of God, 2109 West Hwy146, La Grange, KY 40031. Her funeral ceremony will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown, IN.
