Betty A. Blair , age 79, Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John E. Blair, Sr and son John E. Blair, Jr. She is survived by her loving daughter, Debra Blair.
She started her career in banking and later worked for many years at BCBS as a Membership & Billing Specialists. She retired from JCPS.
Betty was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with family. She enjoyed traveling and especially looked forward to planning the family's summer vacations. She also enjoyed cooking, crochet and UK basketball.
Her friends and family will remember her as an independent and strong-willed person as well as a loyal friend. She found strength in her faith to face life's challenges with grace and dignity.
Funeral Ceremony and burial were private.
