Betty Mae Allen, born Hinkle, on April 17, 1928, in Oldham County, Kentucky, departed this earthly realm on November 27, 2024, in the city of Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by the love and warmth of her cherished family. A woman of profound faith and unwavering devotion, Betty was not only a guiding light for all who knew her but a true matriarch of her family, leaving behind a legacy of  love, laughter, and devotion.

Betty's life was a testament to her enduring commitment to her family. She was the beloved mother of Michael Allen and his wife, Nikki, who together with her grandsons, Jerimiah and Glen Smith, hold close the memories cultivated through years of shared moments and cherished traditions. Betty’s presence in their lives was a source of inspiration, nurturing a bond that transcends time, reminding everyone around her of the importance of love and connection.

Throughout her years, Betty imbedded her surroundings with joy and graciousness, living her life guided by her steadfast faith. As we gather to honor her remarkable life, friends and family are invited to a memorial service on December 14, 2024, at Cable Missionary Baptist Church, located at 314 S. Wenzel Street, Louisville, KY 40204. The service will begin at 12:00 PM..
