Beth Ellen Harris (née Steiner), born on October 11, 1948, in Pontiac, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Beth’s life was a testament to kindness and generosity, qualities that touched every person she encountered.
Beth was known for her gentle spirit and giving nature. She had an abiding love for cats, and her warmth extended not only to her cherished pets but to everyone she welcomed into her home. An accomplished and enthusiastic cook, Beth took great joy in preparing meals for her loved ones, filling her home with inviting aromas and laughter. She also found profound happiness working side by side in the garden with her beloved husband Steve, cultivating not only beautiful flowers and vegetables, but also countless treasured memories.
Beth’s legacy is deeply intertwined with her devotion to family. She is survived by her devoted sisters, Dianne Ernst, Christine Rehahn, Donita Sinozich, and Kimberlee Evans, each of whom she supported with unwavering love throughout the years.
Beth now joins in rest her dearly missed husband, Steve Harris, as well as her father Donald Steiner, mother Marge Steiner, her brothers James "Jimmy" Steiner and her sister Starr Fagerstrom. Their memories remain cherished by all who survive them.
Beth’s kindness, her passion for cooking and gardening, and her generous spirit defined a life well-lived. Those who knew her will remember her gentle humor, her open heart, and the many ways she offered her time and care to others. Her spirit remains alive in the gardens she tended, the recipes she perfected, and the countless acts of kindness that marked her journey.
Beth Ellen Harris will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire and comfort those whose lives she graced.
