Bessie Mae Revard

Bessie Mae Revard, age 86 of Louisville, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021. She was born July 13, 1935 to the late Hughie and Dora Upton Gilbert. Bessie was a life-long member of Camp Taylor Wesleyan Church and attended Highview Baptist Church. She was a beautiful person who loved her family very much. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Raymond Joseph Revard, Sr., her son, Ricky Revard; and her siblings, Ron Gilbert and Randy Gilbert; daughter-in-law, Lea Revard; and son-in-law, Carl Allen .

Bessie is survived by her loving children, Linda Waddell (Charlie), Dora Easley, Betty Brown, Raymond Revard, Jr. (Lisa), Theresa Craft and Leslie Allen; grandchildren, Kimberly Carman (Jason), Christopher Waddell, Devon Revard, Nick Revard (Kymber), Patrick Revard, Lori James (Tad), Heather Coble, Stephanie Smith, Valarie Smith, Makayla Brown, Travis Revard, Amber Revard, Casey Vaught (Justin), Alexis Bell, Wayne Maddix, Jr., Kaitlyn Craft, Brandon Craft and Ryan Allen; great-grandchildren, Heather Carman, Makayla Carman, Hailey Carman, Maggie Waddell, Christian Waddell, Kyndall Revard, Raymond Revard III, Kristina Revard, Carter Revard, Braylen Revard, Maddie Revard, Katherine James, Allison James, Lily James, Jennyfer Coble, Brianna Coble, Liam Coble, Cameron Smith and Hazel Robertson; siblings, Raymond Gilbert (Delore), Norene Gilbert, Betty Rash (Jerry), Don Gilbert (Sissy) and Dan Gilbert; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 and from 8:30am to time of service at 10am on Tuesday, October 5th at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
