Bessie "Faye" (Young) Justice, 74, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday afternoon, April 8, 2016. She enjoyed spending time out in the yard, loving her flowers, and also enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She was born on May 28, 1941 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Arlie and Lucinda (Singleton) Young. Faye was also preceded in death by her son, Doug Elsea.
Faye is survived by her husband of 48 years, Vernon E. Justice; children, Teresa Mann, Diane Kauchak (Lee), Juanita Lyninger, Kristy Jackson (Paul), Terry Justice, Vernon Lee Justice; siblings, Kathleen Pollard, Nolan, Rex, Leon, Chandler Young; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM on Monday, April 11, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Tuesday after 9 AM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery in Sellersburg, Indiana.
Contributions in Faye's memory may be made to the Floyd County Humane Society (PO Box 1134, New Albany, IN 47150).
