Bertrand C. "Bert" Charlton, Jr., age 74 of Louisville, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016. He was a former member of the Army Reserves, a graduate of the University of Louisville with a Bachelors of Science and a retired independent salesman. Bert was preceded in death by his parents, Bertrand C. Charlton, Sr. and Aileen Huckleberry Charlton.
Bert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Wilma; daughter, Amy Marshall; grandchildren, Andrew, Jordan and Lexy Marshall; sister, Anne Drexler (Tom); and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 11am-5pm Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with a celebration of Bert's life at 5pm.
Memorials may be made to the Crusade for Children, Home of the Innocents or donor's charity of choice.
