Berniece Ann (Jacobi) Doyle

Berniece "Bernie" Ann (Jacobi) Doyle, 81, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on December 9, 2016. She retired from nursing after many years of faithful service and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, Indiana. Bernie enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her loving family.
Bernie was born on August 26, 1935, in Navilleton, Indiana, to John and Ruth (Schmidt) Jacobi. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond G. Doyle.
She is survived by her loving children; Mark Doyle (Amy), and Lora Clasen (Darren); her sisters, May Jacobi, and Mary Helen Peter; her brother, John Jacobi Jr. (Judy); grandchildren, Caimen and Cambree.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) from 3 to 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Navilleton.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Norton Hosparus Pavallion (315 East Broadway, 6th Floor, Louisville, Ky 40202).
