Bernice Metcalf, 91, of Louisville, passed away on October 18, 2015.
Bernice was born in Louisville on November 29, 1923. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Florence, II and second husband, Joseph Metcalf. She is survived by her sons, James Florence (Phyllis) and Oscar Florence, III (Pat); 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral ceremony will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
