Bernice Mackin, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020.

She was born on June 3, 1945 in Corbin, Kentucky to Esco and Avaleen (Lanham) Wooten. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her, son, Robert "Bobby" Wooten, and her brother, Dennis Wooten. She retired from Unisource Company. Bernice loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. In her free time, she also enjoyed painting, making keepsakes for her family and bingo.

Bernice is survived by her loving daughter, JoAnn Wooten Cunningham (Adam), grandchildren, Tamara Thompson, Heather Thompson, Holly Thompson, Austin Husband, Sean Henderson, and Shane Henderson. Along with her siblings, Dale (Carol) Wooten, Barbara Doyle (Ronnie), Linda Mattingly, Bonnie (Charlie) Wolf, and David Wooten (Brandee), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.

Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
