Bernardo Madariaga Blanco, passed peacefully at age 67, October 21, 2018, in Louisville, KY.
He is survived by his loving wife Teresa, his devoted children Elizabeth, Bernardo & Becki, Luis & Angie, Yessyn, and Ernys, his cherished grandchildren Juan David, Elizabeth Paola, Evelyn Lorena, Estafania, Lisandra, Benjamin, Damian, Jesus, Mattalyn, Melody, & Sebastian and very special great grandchildren Angel, Fiorella, and Joshua. He is also survived by his siblings, many neices and nephews and friends too numerous to count.
Bernardo was a generous man who would give all that he had to help someone in need. In 1993 he left a country he loved when he moved his family from Barranquilla, Colombia to the United States. He was a mechanic by trade and loved to be in the garage. He was a man who loved a good meal and enjoyed gathering regularly with friends and family.
He will be missed considerably by everyone who knew him.

A memorial gathering will be Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-5pm with a celebration of Bernardo's life beginning at 5pm.
Bernardo Madariaga Blanco fallecio en paz a la edad de 67 años, en Octubre 21, 2018 en Louisville, KY.
Quedando su esposa amada Teresa, sus queridos hijos: Elizabeth, Bernardo & Becki, Luis & Angie, Yessyn y Ernys, al igual que sus nietos Juan David, Elizabeth Paola, Evelyn Lorena, Estefania, Lizandra, Benjamin, Damian, Jesus, Mattalyn, Melody y Sebastian con sus bisnietos Angel, Fiorella y Joshua, tambien quedando sus hermanos, primos, sobrinos, sobrinas y muchos amigos!
Bernardo fue un hombre generoso que dio todo lo que tenian a cualquira en necesidad. En 1993 el dejo a su Barranquilla querida y se mudo con su familia a los Estadod Unidos.
El fue un mecanico por oficio y amaba estar en su taller, el era un hombre que le gustaba sus comidas y disfrutaba las reuniones familiares y con sus amigos.
El va ser extrañado grandemente por todos los que le conocieron.
Que Dios te bendiga Bernardo/Papi/Abuelo/Tio/Hermano/Amigo.
