Bernard Dean "Bear" Stayton, age 76 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center. He was an Army veteran and a truck driver. Bernard was a faithful member of Gospel Kingdom Church.
Bernard is survived by his loving wife, Delores; daughters, Sarah Oramas (Del) and Yvonne Badgett (Jimmy); sons, Kenny Buntain (Debbie), Jason Stinson (Stephanie) and Jacob Stinson (Malissa); sister, Clarice Wilbanks; a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation to celebrate Bernard's life will be from 1-5pm, Wednesday, November 25 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
