Bernard Richard "Bernie" Nannen, 81, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. He worked as an accountant for W.R. Grace, Inc., for many years and also worked for Mapother and Mapother. Bernie enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Bernie was born on December 21, 1933 in Peoria, Illinois to Harm and Katie(Riekena)Nannen. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin E. Nannen.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Barbara (Sutsser)Nannen; children; Rebecca Bowman (Gilbert), David Nannen, Robert Nannen (Ivana); 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 to 1 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with service at 1PM with cremation to follow.
