Benjamin Adam Lakin

Benjamin Adam "Ben" Lakin, 39, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020. Ben was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and loved tinkering with electronics and computers. He enjoyed being around animals and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was born on July 2, 1981, in Washington, D.C., to Linda (Osborne) Duncan.

Along with his mother, Ben is survived by his stepfather, Robert "Bob" Duncan; siblings, Theodore "Teddy" (Misti) Lakin, Zachary "Zach" (Bridget) Lakin, and Robert "Freddie" (Brittney) Duncan; and his 6 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service with Military Honors will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with cremation to follow. He will be laid to rest at a later date in the New Albany National Cemetery.
