Benjamin J. McRoberts, 80, of Greenville, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013. He was a United States Navy veteran and a local hospice chaplain for over 20 years. Hospice was more than just a job to Ben, it was his passion. Ben was a kind man whose patients always came first.
Visitation will be from 12 to 4 PM Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 4 PM at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Ben's wishes.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
