Benjamin Clark Horton III, 73, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Ben had a passion for music and '57 Chevys. He was a very innovative and talented gunsmith and an expert marksman.

Ben was born on July 14, 1944, to the late Benjamin Horton II and Mary Jean (Rogers) Horton. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Marvyn Blair and Mary Jane Squires; and half-brother, Fred Horton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda (Harvey) Horton; daughter, Jeanna Stevens (David); half-sister, Fran Norris (Michael); 5 grandchildren, Zebadiah Carroll, Benjamin P. Carroll, Sydney Barker, Ashlee Stevens and David Stevens, Jr.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Northside Christian Church (4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the church. Cremation was chosen following Ben's wishes.
