Ben Allen Goranflo

Ben Allen Goranflo, 69, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Ben enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and sharing laughs. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing cards, games, and Bingo. He was always the life of the party. He will forever be remembered and missed.

He was born on February 18, 1952, in La Grange, Kentucky, to the late James and Eleanor (Pilcher) Goranflo.

Ben is survived by his children, Daniel (Ericka) James, Alisa (Chad) Mattern, Levi (Tesia) Goranflo, and Corey (Autumn) Goranflo; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and siblings, Janet Whitaker, James "Jimmy" Goranflo, Jr., Jill Mertz, and Patty Watson.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Ben will be laid to rest at New Albany National Cemetery at a later date.
