Belinda Sue Blackmon Jumper, known affectionately as Belinda Sue, was born on August 4, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky. Her journey through life, abundant in love and warmth, came to a peaceful close on February 25, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family.
A vibrant spirit with an infectious sense of humor, Belinda Sue was known for her kind demeanor and welcoming presence, effortlessly making those around her feel at ease. Her laughter resonated through the halls of her home, especially during the holidays, which she adored. Each Thanksgiving, she would grace the family table with her famous peach cobbler, a sweet tradition that sweetened the bonds of her family and brought joy to many gatherings.
Navigating life with grace, Belinda Sue's education began at Eastern High School, leading her to further enhance her skills at Western Kentucky Vocational School. Her commitment to learning mirrored her unwavering dedication to serving her community, particularly through her active role at her beloved First Baptist Church of Anchorage.
Belinda Sue is remembered not only as a devoted mother and wife but also as a loving sister and a cherished friend. She leaves behind her loving husband, Eddie Jumper, alongside her devoted daughters, Juanita Williams, Alleshia Davis, Alkeshia Boone, and her son, Xavior Blackmon. She was also a beloved sister to Marlene Buckner and the proud matriarch of a bustling lineage that includes a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her legacy of kindness in their hearts.
In her absence, Belinda Sue is now reunited with her beloved parents, Robert Watson, Sr. and Mable Watson, as well as her brother Robert Watson, Jr. and sister Lynn Bennett, while her heart continues to glow in the memories of her grandson, Aaron Williams, who predeceased her.
As family and friends gather to honor her memory, they will find solace in the shared stories, laughter, and love that defined Belinda Sue's life. A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Anchorage in Louisville, KY, on March 14, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at noon. Belinda Sue will then be lovingly laid to rest during a graveside service at Berrytown Cemetery later that day.
In every fond memory, every piece of peach cobbler shared, and every life she touched, Belinda Sue Blackmon Jumper's spirit will continue to shine brightly, embraced forever in the hearts of those she held dear.
