Basil Clay, Jr., age 64, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was formerly employed with Winn Dixie and most recently Purnell's in Simpsonville, Kentucky. He was a UofK fan and loved cars. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Clay; and his parents, Basil Clay, Sr. and Evelyn Mae Ashby Clay.
Basil is survived by his wife, Diana; his daughter, Michelle Fogel (Jedidiah); grandchildren, Hailey, Grayson and Lily Fogel; sister, Sheryl Clay; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 2-6pm Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Basil's life to follow at 6pm.
Memorials may be made to the family.
