Bart Bomar

December 31, 1958 — December 23, 2012

BOMAR, BART, 53, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, December 23, 2012.
Bart was a loving, devoted husband and father, and he was a world class friend. He never met a stranger and brought joy and laughter to every person who had the privilege of knowing him. As a cancer survivor, he used his journey to encourage others and also lived out his testimony of hope he found in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Bart grew up and attended Jeffersontown High School and graduated from Central High School in 1977. His love and vast knowledge of the boating industry led him to owning and operating his own business.

He was preceded in death by his mother Pat.

He is survived by his beloved wife and son, Denise (Dempster) and Blake, of Louisville, KY., his father, Stan (Sue)

sister, Nicki Pfleider (Terry).

His Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday Morning, December 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Forestpark Community Church, 5012 S Watterson Trail. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 AM Saturday, with all visitation at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to his church.
