Barry Kyle Jones

Barry Kyle Jones, born on October 23, 1961, in Lagrange, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. A dedicated member of the community, Barry worked at Caesars Southern Indiana for over 27 years, where he was known for his commitment and passion.

Barry graduated from Jesse Stuart High School in Louisville, Kentucky where he was a proud member of the Jesse Stuart Madrigals, and went on to build a life filled with love and joy. He cherished his time spent singing, cooking, baking, traveling, reading, and most importantly, being with his family. His greatest joy was derived from his grandchildren, who brought extraordinary happiness to his life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Tina Jones. Together they shared a beautiful life and created countless memories. Barry is also survived by his son, John “JT” (Cait) Jones, and his cherished grandchildren, Blaine Jones, Charles Lawless, Audri Miller, and Elaina Miller. He will also be greatly missed by his sisters, Peggy Kessinger, Jaymee Jones, and Paula Huff, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins who fondly remember him.

Barry is preceded in death by his beloved son, Matthew Walker Jones, and his parents, Stanley Jones and Betty (Paul) Johnston.

Visitation for Barry Kyle Jones will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150.

His remarkable life and legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
