Barry "Mike" Michael Goodin, 57, passed away May 31, 2015.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Goodin and Dorothy Bishop; and step-mother, Novella Goodin.
He resided in California for the last 30 years, where he was a member of the Gilroy American Legion Post #217 and was a trainer of thoroughbred race horses. Mike had a love of horses that lasted a lifetime. He lived every day to its fullest.
He is survived by his step-father, Levon Bishop; brothers, Garry Bishop (Teresa), James Goodin, Paul Goodin; sister, Tonya Kendall (Steve); and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM with a funeral ceremony immediately following at 7:00pm.
Burial with Military Honors will be on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1:30PM at the Lebanon National Cemetery.
