Barbara Ann Wooldridge

Barbara Ann Wooldridge, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, sister and friend. She was a Master Gardener which was evident in her beautiful landscaping. Barbara had a passion for animals and enjoyed bird watching and feeding the deer in her yard. She loved to be outside in nature, where she found peace. Barbara was a devout Catholic and participated with her husband in hosting the retreat program for the Archdiocese of Louisville Region 10. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 23, 1949 in Heidelberg, Germany to Maurice and Elisabeth Drew. She is preceded in death by her father, Maurice Drew; mother, Elisabeth Drew; and her beloved husband, Donald Edward Wooldridge.

Barbara is survived by her loving family, brother-in-law, Charlie Wooldridge and his wife, Joyce; honorary sisters, Jeanie Clark, Mary Louise (Dan) Shadwick, Katie (Eddie) Johnson; special friends at Forest Hills Commons as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, Louisville, Kentucky. Her funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions in Barbara’s memory be made to the Norton Hosparus Healthcare Pavillion, 315 East Broadway, Louisville, Kentucky or Friends of Metro Animal Services, 3528 Newburg Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
