Barbara Ann (Mcintyre) Witt

Barbara Ann (MacIntyre) Witt, 73, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on July 17, 2021. She was an award winning quilter and loved spending time with her family. Barbara enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening, horseback riding and camping.

She was born on December 5, 1947, in Clairmont, New Hampshire, to the late Verlan, Sr. and Margaret (Croteau) MacIntyre. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Verlan MacIntyre, Jr.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Don Witt; sons, Scott and John Abbott; step-children, Leslie Witt, Patrick Witt; grandchildren, Isaiah Mickelson, Violet Kelley, Britin, Randy, Ty, Van, Scotty, Braydon, Trinity, Regan, Gracie Abbott, Jalen, Nylah, Aliyah Porter; great-grandchildren, Emmalyme Durand, Elaina Abbott; and siblings, Jack MacIntyre, Kenneth MacIntyre and Patty Sain.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Elizabeth, Indiana.
