Barbara Ann Weatherford

Barbara Ann Weatherford, age 88 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 12,2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Barbara was a life-long resident of Louisville.  She was a devoted wife and loving mother of five and grandmother of ten.  She loved living on or near the Ohio River.   She cherished spending time with her family and friends.  Barbara was a devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Joe Weatherford of 54 years who passed away in 2019.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lesa Thompson (Robert), Cindy Siemer (David), Donnie Long (Lesa), Tim Long (Shannon), BJ Weatherford (Greg); her ten grandchildren, 15 great-grand-children; and her life-long friend, Beverly Hassan. 

Visitation will be Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 2pm to 6pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.  A mass of celebration will be held 11am on Monday, October 21st at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1406 East Washington Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40206 with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
