Barbara Darlene Mickinney-Lupo

Barbara Darlene Mickinney-Lupo passed away on September 15, 2025, in La Grange, Kentucky, at the age of 69. She was born on May 25, 1956, in Grapevine, Texas, to L.L. "Buddy" McKinney and Frances McKinney, who have predeceased her.

Barbara was a graduate of the McArthur High School class of 1974 in Irving, Texas. Throughout her career, she displayed a remarkable dedication to her work as an accountant. She spent 15 years at BJ Hunt and continued her professional journey at CB Employment, both located in Irving, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Elly Lupo; her sister, Susan Hair; her grandchild, Daniel "Danny" Wayne McKinney; and her niece and caregiver, Patricia "Trisha" Watts, along with her nephew-in-law, Frank Savino. Barbara also leaves behind her great nephews and nieces, Ryan Kristopher Jackson, Val Jackson, Frankie Peebles, Bekah Peebles, Dave Page, Jr., and Mae Peebles.

The family invites all who knew and loved Barbara to celebrate her life and carry forth her legacy of kindness and compassion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
