Barbara Jane (Robertson) Mcnay

Barbara Jane McNay, 78, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Barbara started her career, out of high school, as a nurse at the Henryville Clinic and later went on to further her career at Ivy Tech School of Nursing and received her LPN license. She later retired from Maple Manor Christian Home in 2012. She also loved cooking and spending time with her family.

She was born on August 20, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Rollie and Lula Mae (Patton) Robertson. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Flaherty; and brothers, Louis, Donnie, Bob, and Ronnie Robertson.

Barbara is survived by her 3 children, Lisa Sweeney, Michelle (Greg) Furnish, and Brian (Brittany) McNay; 7 grandchildren, Taylor (Tiffani) Sweeney, Cameron (Kayla) Furnish, Bryson McNay, Conner Furnish, Chandler Furnish, Blake McNay, and Caleigh Furnish; great-grandchildren, Riley, Bentlee, Bentley, Kayden, Brylee, and Holten; and brothers, Tom (Bertie), Dave (Susie), Richard (LaDonna), and Curley Robertson.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
