Barbara Lee Quick Riggle McCulloch

Barbara Lee Quick Riggle MCCulloch, born in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away after living 85 wonderful and meaningful years. She was a woman full of life, known for her warmth, generosity, and the love she poured into everything she did.

Barbara was especially known for “Barbara Lee’s kitchen,” a place where family, friends, and loved ones gathered to share meals, laughter, and unforgettable moments. She was always working, always caring, and always putting others before herself. Her love for her family was the center of her world, and she made sure everyone around her felt it. With her bright spirit, infectious laughter, and ever-present smile, Barbara was truly the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Quick and Floia Bryant; her siblings, Willie Gattis, Yvonne Gattis (Withers), and Homer Quick; and her husband Mark MCCulloch, and her son-in-law, Mike Perry.

Barbara leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory forever. She is survived by her three children: David L. Riggle (Susan), Rosa J. Perry, and Juanita Workman. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren, a great-grandmother to twenty-four great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandmother to three. She also held a special place in her heart for all her nieces and nephews.

Barbara’s legacy is one of love, strength, and joy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).

Visitation will also be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with burial to follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Pewee Valley, Kentucky.
