Barbara Jean "B.J." (Driskell) Hinkle, 78, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022. A cowgirl at heart, she loved visiting the beach, collecting seashells, and doing all types of crafts.
She was born on October 31, 1943, in Talladega, Alabama, to Selvin and Vera (Cagle) Driskell. B.J. is survived by her husband, Donald Hinkle; children, Candace Stout, Sandra Gillenwater, and Andrew Hinkle; grandchildren, Casey Coble, Justin Arwood, and Taner Farmer; and sister, Joyce Beanblossom.
B.J.'s wish was to be cremated, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care.
