Barbara Gene "Bobbi" Dunn Moutardier, 80, passed away on June 18, 2016. She was born to Charlie Holmes and Virginia Suter (Cox) Dunn in Trimble County, Kentucky on September 12, 1935. She grew up in Carroll County. On October 10, 1958, Barbara married Glendel L. "Moody" Moutardier in Indiana. They were blessed with one daughter, Glendora Leigh. Barbara was an incredibly loving and doting grandmother to her three granddaughters with whom she spent countless hours fixing their breakfasts before school, taking them to dance classes and having them take turns spending the night with her even on school nights because they were fortunate enough to grow up right next door to her.
She collected dolls and loved history, especially the history of her native Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Margaret McAllister.
Those left to cherish are her devoted daughter, Glendora Whetstone; son-in-law, D. L. "Ratt" Whetstone; three precious granddaughters, Maggie, Raechel and Meredith Whetstone; a great grandson, Avant Faulkner; one sister, Ruth Leach; one aunt, two uncles, nieces and nephews including Kathy McAllister and Nancy Hancock, and her beloved dog, Mollie.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272).
