Barbara Louise Gartner

Barbara Louise Gartner, 82, passed away on October 9, 2022. She was a member of Evangel World Prayer Center and served at the Lord's Kitchen. Barbara enjoyed drawing, cooking and playing pinochle. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and making memories with them. Barbara could always put a smile on your face with her humor. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willi Gartner; father, Chester Burkhart and her mother, Corrine Parker.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories, her children, David Gartner, Mandy (Anthony) Diehl, Joe (Tiffany) Gartner and Jon Gartner; grandchildren, Rich G. Ammon, Brandy Gartner, Alexis Berchiolli, Jake Gartner and Alec Gartner; brother, Joe (Maureen) Misbach; nephews, Ryan Misbach and Daniel Misbach; nieces, Tante Morrison, Emily Thomas and Kaitlin Byer

Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-8pm. A celebration of Barbara's life will be Friday, October 14, 2022, beginning at 11am at the funeral home.

Barbara will be laid to rest at Bethany Cemetery, 10915 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
