Barbara A Freeman

Barbara A Freeman, age 76 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born February 2, 1950 in Elkhorn City, Kentucky to the late Bevin and Rosa Belcher Rose.  She grew up in Pound, VA . and  met the love of her life, Eugene in 1966 then married in 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky.  She obtained her Associate Degree from the University of Louisville and worked along-side her husband at Allstate Insurance, was a Special Education Teacher with Jefferson County and modeled for the Alix-Adams Modeling Agency.  Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 59 years, Eugene "Gene" Freeman; children, Alan Freeman (Aimee) and Angel Eblen; grandchildren, Jaron, Ethan. Elliana and Ethan Z; siblings, Lois Kelly, Robert Rose (Barbara), Violet Newsom (Gary) and Don Rose; her fur baby, Holly; and a host of family and friends.
