Barbara Eileen (Miller) Fisher

Barbara Eileen (Miller) Fisher, 85, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019. She was a long-time member of Ohio Falls United Methodist Church and a 40-year member of Phi Beta Psi. In her younger years, Barbara was always active, playing in softball and bowling leagues.

She was born on July 18, 1934, in Washington, Indiana, to the late George and Mary (Mattingly) Miller. Barbara was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fisher.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Anita Buckingham (Phillip) and Cathy McAndrew (Mike); sons, Doug Fisher (Jeanne) and Mike Fisher (Michelle); 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as many life-long friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Phi Beta Psi Theta Upsilon Service at 6:00 p.m.) on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 11:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
