Barbara J. Duncan, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 11, 1947 to the late Elsine Stone and Robert Briscoe, Sr. She was the owner of BJ's Childcare for over 20 years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Willetta Shorts and Roberta Briscoe Williams.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Frank Duncan; siblings, Jacqueline Goins, Johnetta Jones, Tonella Stone, Robert (Rosie Annette) Briscoe, Jr., Tommy (Rita) Briscoe and Lois Briscoe; and a host of other family members and friends.

A service to celebrate her life will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
