Barbara Jean Casey

Barbara Jean "Bonnie" Casey, 84, passed away peacefully at home with family surrounding her with their love on March 12, 2017. She was a member of Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Irvington, KY and was a past member the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 220. Bonnie was employed by Eddie's Seafood House and Moby Dick Seafood, but mostly was a housewife who loved gardening, cooking and canning home grown vegetables.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Russell Lee Casey and infant daughter, Stella Marie.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Harry) Beeler, Chris Hayes and Doris (Lee) Oliver; grandchildren, Travis, Jessica, Debbie, Amanda, Todd, Autumn and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Devon, Alex, Myranda, Hanna and Brady; brother, Herbert (Terry) Newman, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 11am-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) with a celebration of Bonnie's life beginning at 3pm.
