Barbara C. (Simmons) Cardwell, 60, passed away on May 6, 2012. She was a talented artist that truly enjoyed drawing.
Barbara was born on May 22, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Vernon and Doris (Burton) Simmons. She is survived by her children, Terry Brown (Tammy), Ray Brown (Lisa), Alex Brown, Owen Alvey (Christy), JoAnn Leet (Billy); brothers, Ricky Simmons (Sharon), Joe Simmons (Donna); 12 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Her Visitation will be noon to 8 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
