Barbara "Barb" Ewing, aged 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, left this world on December 4, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.
Barb was a cherished mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She filled the lives of those around her with joy and kindness. Barb had a passion for crocheting, often creating beautiful gifts for her loved ones, and she found great happiness in playing bingo and listening to the melodies of oldies music. Though she enjoyed the comfort of her home, it was her family that truly filled her heart with happiness, and she cherished every moment spent in their company.
Born on April 2, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, Barb was the beloved daughter of Robert and Katherine (Coyle) McClure. She is embraced by her family in a peaceful rest, reunited with her dear son, Joseph Delk; her sister, Betty Simmons; and her brother, Bobby McClure, who all preceded her in death.
Barb's spirit continues to shine through her loving son, Michael (Nicole) Ewing; her sister, Patricia Jones; her brothers, George and Joe McClure; her cherished granddaughter, Megan; and grandson, Tony. She will also be fondly remembered by her niece, Joyce (Ray, Jr.) Cooper; her step-daughter, Helen Aldridge; her daughter-in-law, Karen Delk; along with countless other family and friends whose lives she touched so profoundly.
Barb will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
