Ayrica Lyn Amster

Ayrica Lyn Amster, 49, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. She was a 1989 graduate of Graceland Baptist School. Ayrica was always family oriented. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and loved her dogs, Aubrey and Mollie.

She was born on August 2, 1971 in New Albany, Indiana to Vicky Applegate and Christopher Amster. Along with her parents, Ayrica is survived by her grandparents, Ollie and Lodema Applegate; aunts and uncles, Danny Applegate (Theresa), Rick Applegate (Pam), Julie Applegate, Phillip Amster, Star LaDuke, Louellen Amster (Sonny); as well as numerous cousins.

Ayrica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Zoll and Camilla Amster; and uncle, Larry Applegate.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
