Avon Travis Watt, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Avon was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church and St. Matthews Masonic Lodge.

He was born on March 14, 1944 in Round Hill, Kentucky to Arthur and Macy (Embry) Watt. He is preceded in death by his parents and a Granddaughter, Amber Watt.

Avon is survived by his loving Wife of 56 years, Betty Watt, Sons, Mike (Charlotte) Watt, Darrell Watt, and Kevin Watt, Sister, Charlene (Ronnie) Cobble, Brothers, Eddie (Sherry) Watson, Robert (Patty) Watson, Dallas Watson, and Arthur Watt, Jr., Granddaughters, Amanda (Shane) Johnson, Desiree Watt and Jasmine Raiford, Grandsons, Derrick Watt, Dustin Watt, and Kevin Watt, Jr., and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
